Concentration and Focus

Writer's picture: Tiffany Robinson Tiffany Robinson

Mudra for the week is, Hakini Mudra! It is well known to aid concentration, focus and improve brain power by helping to bring together the right and left sides of the brain. I actually started using this Hand Mudra, i was forgetting things alot more than usual! Once becoming a Reiki Master and Teacher though @lisapowers.co Back in 2017. I started learnig more about Mudra and how they help my clients with their own healing process. Here are some tips on Hakini Mudra... . Join the tips of your fingers of your right hand to your left hand.

Keep your palms seperated.

Do Hakini Mudra anywhere.

Use it when trying to remember something.

Use it when you need to focus.

Focus on the third eye area (the point between the eyebrows) as you do this Mudra.

Try placing the thumbs at the third eye area, centre of the chest or lower down, maybe under the table at a meeting! Also try adding my two favorite teas to your daily routine. . . Matcha. Matcha is produced from shade-grown green tea leaves that are stone-ground into a fine powder. ...

Yerba Mate. Mate is a caffeinated tea made from a species of holly plant and popular throughout South America. ... . More concentration Herbs that you can use daily..

Ginseng- is a popular herbal supplement,

well known for its energy-boosting

properties. It has also been shown to

stimulate brain function, making it a

sought-after herb for improving sports and

mental performance. Panax ginseng is the

most studied type in human trials.

Sage- Research shows that sage may have

impressive cognitive-enhancing effects in

adults. It’s high in many potent plant

compounds, including luteolin, rosmarinic

acid, camphor, quercetin, and apigenin,

which give it its impressive medicinal properties.

Rosemary - Like peppermint, the Rosemary may help improve cognitive performance.

Inhaling rosemary essential oil allows compounds in the oil called terpenes to enter your bloodstream, from where they can directly affect your brain. And many more.

Yes, trying practicing it often! When starting off try doing in a quiet place with no distractions. Putting all your focus on the third eye area. I hope it helps you! 🙏🏾
